Payment is made through Stripe invoices and is in USD. One invoice will be sent for the initial payment, and another will be sent for the final payment. You do not need a Stripe account in order to pay via Stripe invoices.

50% of the payment must be made upfront and 50% will be made after the piece is finished. I give the higher quality, non-watermarked version after the final payment is made.

The upfront payment must be made within 48 hours of placing the commission, otherwise the commission will be canceled.

The higher quality, unwatermarked version of the artwork will not be sent over until the final payment is made.

The price of the commission does not include sales tax.

If I am unable to complete a piece for any reason, you will be refunded fully.

Refunds will be given in an amount appropriate to the progress of the artwork (e.g. if I have not started the piece, 100% will be refunded; if I have the sketch completed, 80% will refunded).

All artwork will be in my art style, with requests for slight changes available.

At least 3 progress images will be sent to the client: sketches, colored sketches, and a work-in-progress screenshot of the rendering. More progress images can be sent at any time, but I may not always have the file on hand.

The file of the piece will be discarded 3 weeks after the piece is completed. You may ask for the file at any time until this point.

If you ask for an edit, the deadline will be pushed back depending on how drastic the change is.

You can request 10 edits during the sketch/coloring phase, but after I begin rendering you are only allowed 3 edits.

Commissioned pieces will generally take from 1-2 weeks, with up to 4 for complicated pieces. I will give you an estimate when you commission me.

I retain all copyright to commissioned artworks, including sketches/work-in-progress pictures and full pieces.

Characters in Mimi's artwork are retained by their respective owners.

You may post derivative works (traced or copied works) of Mimi's artwork if you are the commissioner or owner of the character.

I retain the right to post my artwork anywhere.

Private commissions are available for an additional 50% of the fee, but commissions can be posted anonymously for free.

The commissioner can freely use the completed artwork for any non-commercial purpose. I offer both a watermarked and unwatermarked version. The commissioner may post whichever version. However, I suggest only posting the watermarked version.

I have the right to deny a commission for any reason.

I will not do artwork relating to AI or NFTs.
